Five Safety Travel Tips

2012 has come and what a wonderful way to welcome the New Year with New Resolutions. If you are a travel junk or you just love to travel, please make sure that you travel safely this year by doing these travel tips that I want to share with you.

Here are the five travel tips that you needed to know:

1.     I know all of us don’t like credit card debt and we dread everything that steals our money from us. So for prepaid and non-refundable travel costs, using your credit card is a wiser step than paying them with your cash. Unauthorized claims that appear on your credit card can be disputed a little earlier because credit card companies are guarding you by removing unnecessary bills and chasing those offenders that are trying to take advantage of your money.

2.     Make sure that you do business with a trusted organization so you save yourself from fraud and scam. Don’t be fooled by false promises and believe me, they are very enticing, so when you invest in them, the next time you’ll know, they are not there anymore.

3.     Guard your Identity always. Identity theft has affected millions of people around the world. Because of the growing technology, people are now twice as much exposed to thieves, especially those who are travelling in an unfamiliar place.

4.     Always be reminded that trip cancellation insurance is very important because we really don’t know what will happen in the upcoming days. A lot of people cancel their trips because of reasons such as there’s a death in the family, there are family emergencies that needs to be attend to or because of a personal illness. Don’t risk your money being thrown away because you don’t have cancellation insurance. So enroll with the right travel insurance plan.

5.     Please, please, please always buy a travel health insurance if you are travelling abroad or just outside your home network of coverage. You too can be saved by your travel insurance so you’ll be sure that whatever happens, you are covered with their care.

What a wonderful way to travel knowing that you are safe in any way. Enjoy travelling!
